VPN question

Postby idea3 » Sat Mar 03, 2007 3:54 pm

Hi

I am trying to connect my mac @ home with my station at work via VPN.
Unfortunately, at work we work on PC machines. On my PC laptop I can connect with my machine at work and work that way via VPN and then use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to my station there.
Is there a way of doing same thing on Mac?
I tried a few things but can't get connected

thanx

Re: VPN question

I started a WoW account 1 week ago and used the Elite bot human path to do the leveling, course, as i still was a noob at everything, i didn't use a VPN, now 7 days later, i got banned. I tryed playing the idiot card, but that didn't work out.

No worries there, my loss, and i'll start again with a new account. I did read the VPN thread, but i just have to ask 2 questions.

1) Would a VPN server have avoided the ban?
2) If i would get 2 accounts, 1 as a main and 1 as a bot account, is it better to use a VPN for both, or just for the bot?

All advice appreciated,

my advice would be to level the char as its meant to be so when you get in a raid you actually know what your doing instead of being a lvl capped noob.
