Running Limewire in Mandrake 10

I cant get limewire to run and I dont know how to make the download an executable.
I am a brand new linux user and I am running a KDE Desktop enviroment.

Whats the file type that you downloaded?

There's a version that comes with the installer avaliable here

Don't forget you will need Java installed, and you will need to do this in the terminal to make it work.

export PATH=$PATH:/usr/java/j2re1.4.2_02/bin

Substitute the above folder locations with what applies to your system of course. But the one above is pretty standard.
