Im currently back at uni and they want us to study unix commands, its all new to me and aint exactly sure how to write out unix commands, aint exactly sure what unix is either. It seems to be like MS DOS? :S if anyone can explain and give me some hints i be greatful thanks :) , Rob.

This site will give you a quick dos to unix chart and a short description of the unix interface.

And this link will give you a list all the unix commands and what they do.

ah okay thank you :) , also is there a a chance i can use unix on windows? ? or is that not possible like linux different os ? :S , Rob.
