My favourite Linux Distro is Ubuntu and Fedora. Linux is more secure than any other Operating Systems. It provides lots of features than any other system and it is an open source.

That really depends on what it needs to be used for. I would say generally speaking Ubuntu is the most versatile, but newer versions of Ubuntu I would not upgrade to at this point. OpenSuse is very good, especially as a web server. For a server that needs to process a large amount of data Ubuntu Server is best because you work entirely on the command line and resources aren't being used up by a GUI unless you need to launch one. I rather like Fedora, but have more experience in Debian-based distributions. But, hey they're all good, but I always had to laugh at the ones like Skinny Puppy and worse yet Tiny Linux. I know they are good for making use of really old computers, but what can you really do with only that?

Absolutely Gentoo, a brilliant distro. Very simple (which does not mean easy) and linear in its structure (one of the best distribution for the organization and management of files under / etc). Perhaps heavy use everywhere (due to the need to compile each package) but ideal for a desktop PC.
