It depends on the rest of your system. You need good memory,PSU and cooling to OC without having lockups and such.Im running a XP 2000(1.6) at a XP2100 (1.7),thats not a big jump but all i done was raise the fsb a little.Temps should stay in the 40's (c) but will remain fairly stable in the 50's.If you hit 60 you need to either clock back down or look into a better cooling system such as water cooling.I'll probably push mine a little more when i get better memory, however i dont really have a reason to.Its more playing around than actually needing to.

Download and run it,it will tell you the original speed and the overclocked speed along with a overclocked percentage. It will look like .Thats a shot of my xp2000@ a xp2200 speed. To give you an idea, this is your stock specs.

Athlon XP 2600+ Barton (L2 512KB) 1917MHz 166MHz 11.5x

If you overclocked sucessfully at the settings you listed:
195x11.5=2242mhz

You might be able to hit a higher fsb(200)if you pull the 333 ram and maybe up the vcore to 1.85 which would give you 2300mhz.Keep an eye on those temps though.. is a good tool yo have.It puts your cpu and mainboard temps in your taskbar, from there you can set alarms for certain temps.

hey i downloaded that crystal CPUID says my current on it is

CPU Name : Amd Athlon
Code Name : Barton
Vendor String authentic AMD

Current:

Internal Clock : 2243.49mhz
System Clock : 195.09mhz
Sytem Bus : 390.17mhz
Multiplyer : 11.5
Over Clock : -2.46 % ?

Says Original is higher for some reason ? why is that ?

Original :

Internal Clock : 2300.49mhz
System Clock : 200mhz
Sytem Bus : 400mhz
Multiplyer : 11.5

I think its stable ? im on it now and was on it for a hour last night and everything seemed to be working fine just on higher fbs e.g (200) and lower Vcore settings e.g 1.65 it doesnt work.

im using asus probe to keep track of temp, at the moment because ive just turned it on my temps reading around 43C CPU Temp MB Temp 20C , but that probably because i just turned it on its that low it may heat up more as i run it... and its a cold day here in London England :P heh

what do you think i should try now ?
