Answer to Gecko's question about badpolarbear

The name badpolarbear was one given to me by my sweetheart. Because I live in the snow belt and she considers me to be a bear at heart she gave me the name polarbear. But after she saw some of my antics on ICQ and MSN the word bad was installed also. Let me give you an example.

I had a contact on ICQ that after a while became very rude and obnoxious with me and called me a dumb ass. So I went and got another ICQ name and number and started talking to this person as PeskyWabbit. I told them I was a custom motor cycle builder and I was building a custom bike for a hockey player who had retired from the Toronto Maple Leafs. The bike was going to be presented at the Air Canada Center on January 8 2004 at the game between Toronto and Ottawa in one of the VIP booths there.

After talking to this person for a few weeks I told them I had invitations for 25 people but could only find 19 that wanted to go. This person promptly replied they knew 4 people who would like to go. So I went looking on the net for a logo and did up some fancy invitations. I sent this person 4 of them.

On January the 8 this person showed up at the center with the invites and attempted to be ushered to the VIP booth. Much to their dismay they were turned away and told no such event was going to take place.

The next day this person contacted me online and had a few choice words for me. I suggested to them that perhaps next time they would be more carefull who they called a dumb ass because they looked like one now.

Thus the name badpolarbear.
