A little late on the news...(May 4th, but I want to hear your thoughts.)
Both still fairly close in benchmarks, but one thing NVIDIA's card does will make the diff.

Go check out ATI's site as well for a demo as well, not as interesting as NVIDIA's display, but the benchmarks and specs are what matters.

Info found at- http://techreport.com/reviews/2004q2/ra ... dex.x?pg=7

Feel free to read the page before hearing my thoughts...

The new Ati Gpu, IMO will have the advantage over all, and I am agreeing with the site, it will win because it does not need a huge 480+watt PSU. I have 500 watts but not everyone does, and in the article it stated the more watts a card consumes the more heat is produced from the card. Many will agree(The people who have a 300watt PSU, or not.) having to dish out the extra $$ for the 6800 is not worth it if there is a GPU that is more efficent and reliable( Reliability IMO.) which does not require more watts.

Opinions start rolling. (I currently have a ATI 9800pro (128mb.) never had a problem with it on the games currently out...
-AMD Athlon FX-53
-ASUS K8T800 Sk8V

-ATI Radeon 9800pro (128mb.)
-Maxtor 160gig.HDD

For some reason, I always stick with nVidia. Don't ask why. You would think I would be bitter that they helped kill 3DFX. But I guess I got over that.
