Get your Money Back from Microsoft

Postby Geekgirl » Mon Apr 26, 2004 9:25 pm

I was reading an interesting article in the PC World mag and ran across a class action suite against Microsoft in which plaintiffs have alleged that Microsoft unlawfully used anticompetitive means to maintain a monopoly in markets for certain software, and that as a result, it overcharged consumers who, during specific time periods, licensed in the United States for use in the specific states, Microsoft's operating system software and/or certain of Microsoft's applications software.

Check the link to see if your state applies

is it just me or does anyone else think that M$ prices are too high. If i could get a legal copy of windows for 50.. maybee even 75, i'd probably be more inclined to do so.

I have lost count of the number of notices I have received for the numerous versions of Windows I have purchased over the years. I personally don't feel MS has done anything wrong and refuse to take part in any class action against them.
