guy... what do you think is the best mp3 player about, thats not ipod.. , Rob.

From my readings, iRIVER is better than iPOD. I don't onw one, but if I had to choose from these 2, IRIVER is the answer

cool was looking at them, and my freinds got one i just dunno im fussy... , looked at sony one that looked cool too i cant decide , rob.

I love my ipod, Levi hes called, hes my love! Love it to bits. 40gig hard drive, lovley white, lovley case.
How ever i have seen this lil thin sony thing which does look good, very small, very lite. Also my mate has this mp3 player, dunno wat it is, its a bit smaller than my ipod n its 20 gig, quite nice.

IPOD all the way lol, soz i know u said you diddnt want an ipod, can i ask why?

Hey there, what size are ya looking for... if it's a mid capacity (equivilant to the mini IPod) you can check out the RIO Carbon... Its a 5G...

Looks pretty good but has one small easily remidied problem... case is metal and dome head phone jacks cause static....

That is one I've been looking at...

just despise that everyone got ipod, i like to be different plus i dont like white colour... :S and you have to pay for all acessories :/ , rio carbon looks nice but i want something small thats got more storage not fair! Rob.

is creative zen nomad mp3 player any good anyone ? does anyone have one or know? please reply if you do thanks , Rob.

Don't know about the creative Zen Nomad..... But I've never really heard any negative comments about anything from Creative. And sound stuff IS what they specialize in. My only concern would be this: Since IPod and Rio have such a large share of the MP3 market, It is possible (even of not probable) that Creative would pull out of that market. IF (maybe far fetched) they did pull out, you could have support problems...

But even if that did happen, the unit would probably be obsolete anyway...

I say buy the Nomad and write us a review.... give us a Cheers vs Jeers... Maybe you'll start a revolution!!!!

yay got my mp3 player today

Good points:

well it cost me cheaper then other mp3 players and its got 60gb storage.
Good sound quality.
Good battery so far lasted 3+ hours and still going .
Songs uploaded quite quickly, like 10mins+ for 1gb or so, dunno if thats good compared to ipod but i thought it wasnt bad..

Bad points:

Tis a bit bigger then i first thought.
Have to install software to connect and upload songs.

will post more and test the battery more to see what else comes up but so far its good it think , Rob.
