anyone know about DSP?

Hi, sorry to ask but im studying about DSP and i still dont understand it very much DSP (Digital Signal Processing). I have to find three distinct examples of DSP all i found out sofar is what it is and what it does. Anyone know what three distinct examples would be at all... ?

Anyone who can help i would be greatful, as i have been on Google, Altavista, Yahoo , ask jeeves search engines and nothing has three distinct examples of DSP :( :mad: :?:

It's used in optical computer mice too i think.
www.howstuffworks.com - I had to do a presentation on a periphial for my computing class at college, and i got given the mouse, and i seem to remember that they used digital signal processors. Check the site for more info. :)
