ActiveMovie error?

Postby RpgLord » Thu Nov 25, 2004 3:19 pm

This happened just after I got my computer back from the XP being reinstalled. Dr Divx trial version wouldn't delete from my computer, saying a message i'll put up in a sec (it's the same or near identical.) Anyway, just now I tried to open an anime episode (DB Naruto 109) and I got the same message...

AcvtiveMovie explorer.exe application error

The instruction at "0x0264415b" referenced memory at "0x00000000". Memory could not be "written".

Cancel/debug?

This makes no sense to me. =/ Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Hey RpgLord, can you give us more information, your operating system etc... And have you installed all the security updates from Windows Updates? It's important to update your drivers, especially the VGA driver.

lol I'm a PC newb so you'll have to be more specific and try and explain what you mean. ^^

I haven't downloaded any updates or anything since I got my WinXP reinstalled.

I think this has somethinng to do with WinXP - Divx issues, or so I read.

Go to to update your system. Sorry for that silly question asking your operating system :P If you have problems updating your drivers, ask again and we'll help you  This is just first step I will ask others to do, before changing any settings with divx or system files, good luck mate.[/url]
