Ahh ok, I was using firefox and when I turned to IE there was an extra option Rich Text On/Off. And there's an icon named link. However there's only color, and link and some allignments. Gmail includes more text formatting than hotmail? And what is the difference between the two? Disadvantages, Advantages? Hehe can you tell me please badpolarbear?

Sorry for my English but at the moment I have alot of panic and when this happens since I'm not english I begin to do lots of mistakes  Thanks.

re gmail

Postby badpolarbear » Tue Jan 04, 2005 8:21 pm

First of all gmail has a massive storage space of 1000mb compared to hotmails 250. gmail has some nice features that hotmail doesnt. Also gmail has gmail notifier. It alerts you when an email comes in. It has a small icon in your taskbar and when an email comes in it turns a different colour and it pops up a small description of the context of the email. Therefore you dont have to be opening mail every litle while to see if you have mail Perhaps contact myself or another person in the lounge that hs invitations.. There are two of us with invitations to give out. If you would like one from me just send me a private message with your name and email address. I suggest you try it and if you dont like it you can just delete it.

re memory

Postby badpolarbear » Tue Jan 04, 2005 9:19 pm

It doesnt take up any memory on your system. If you want a gmail account you need to send me your name and your email address in a private message so I can send you the invitation. It is very similar to hotmail or yahoo mail but much better as far as I am concerned
