Is there a special program to do this or what? I'm intrested! Or are they just a big time waster?

hehe, no, i mean like, how do they make all these crasiest pictures with just these characters. Are they using a special program to do the pictures, or do they actually do it on notepad by themself?

In the old days it was all done in the dos text editor.
Now days you can use a program like

My friend actually did one by hand... It was pretty neat to atch, for the first 30 seconds.
