Just about everywhere I visit here, I need to go there, wait for the page to load, then hit refresh to actually see whats new.

Just today, when I got here, the last post was from July 27th. I know things have changed.. so I hit refresh. Ahh, theres all the new posts.

I went to the hardware forum, where I answered some questions the other day. Nope, no new posts... I hit refresh, OH, there they are.

I come in the front door of PCTechforums, and im an anonymous user. I hit the "help forums" and im logged in all of a sudden?

It may be my proxy playing me the fool here, or is the board not properly telling IE to pull a fresh page? I know IE blows goats, but its what we have to use here at work :)

This is probably a situation with your Proxy. If it's TTL is not set correctly, the site won't refresh until you tell it to.

Can't you use a real browser like Mozilla? :P

Tell your admin to chane his settings or you will kill him. :smash:
