Removing Dual boot configuration from boot.ini

Ok...my P-III,I had 2 40GB HDD's,Master--Win98SE,Slave--WinXP Pro

I removed the Slave with XP Pro as I need it for the AMD64 I'm building.

Anyway on boot,it still gives me the choice of OS's

Here's my boot.ini

I want it to boot right to Win98SE

Hey You

You can hide additional installations of Windows from being displayed in the boot menu, but still gain access to them when you need to. Not sure if this is what you want or if you want to remove the boot.ini all together. It is not used in Windows 98. Once an OS has been selected by the user and found by the NTLDR file, the function of BOOT.INI is complete. And the NTLDR file is used by Windows NT 4.0 to coordinate the systems startup procedure.

Ok...thx for the links Geekgirl!!
They got me going in the right direction.
But I wanted to completly remove the MULTI-CHOICE.
So with alittle further digging and some help from higher-up..I got figured out.

First off...WinXP creates that boot.ini
So,leaving Win98SE on the PC meant that the file was not needed.
I went to C: prompt..deleted the file then copied the sys files again...
Problem solved!!
