I am having trouble with the LAN driver from gateway support for the E series computer. The specific model is E-2600D. The driver has no set.exe file in the download folder. I tried following the instructions for the "read me" file but had no success. Anyone have a different driver resource or help with how to install the driver?

Press the Windows key + Pause/Break key at the same time and then select the Hardware tab.
Click on the device manager button then find and expand Network adapters
Right click your card and select update drive next select No to the internet check
Next check install from list or location and then select browse my computer for driver and select have disk
Using browse go to where your driver files are stored, the .ini file should be automatically found once there, click next/install and the drivers will be installed.

I would suggest we install the latest mobo chipset driver first then reboot once for the new chipset driver to take effect.
This can provide a stable system for the other devices driver to work better as well.

Hope this helps.
