Ok, I am going to be trying something. I want to install a Windows 98se in place of the original Sony system on my PC.
The Sony VAIO PC is a PCV 130 with Windows 95 installed, plus a 98 upgrade that was purchased later.
The PC has a two CD disk set, a System Recovery CD and an Application Recovery CD...... to be used to restore the computer to its original configuration if need be.
There is no "Windows 95" CD disk. The 95 info is contained in the two Sony CDs described above.
The System Recovery CD will format the hard drive, erasing everything on the hard drive to bare bones, and then it procedes to reinstall Windows 95 and the Sony stuff that is part of the VAIO package.

My question is how do I go about formatting the hard drive so that I can install the 98se?
I know I cannot use the Sony CDs, because they format and install, all from one single CD.
