Can't load Office Pro 97

Running Windows 98. Installing the CD but nothing happens. Just get quick blinking CD light. Even tried to execute it from the RUN option.
Any ideas guys?

In addition to RB's questions, do you have Office already installed? Pro is an upgrade to Office.

Yes, I can run other CD's on it and I have about 30GB's of empty space. No, the CD seems fine. I installed it on my daughter's computer with no problems.
I didn't know Office 97 pro was an upgraded to Office. Is Office included in the Windows 98 CD? Maybe I don't have it activated?
See, this computer was given to me but the original hard drive won't run so I installed a new hard drive and had to go to websites for all drivers. It was a learning experience and I'm still learning.

Office Pro versions are upgrades. An original Office Program must already be installed. No, Office does not come with the Win98 CD. Ask your friends where they got Office from.
