VXD file error on startup

when i boot up an error message pops up saying "file in VXD - ha10kx2k (01) + 000315fa has performed an illegal and needs to be shut down blah blah blah" if i just go continue nothing happens and just sits at a dos screen. i can start up in safe mode and windows "help" files are of no help. i am running 98Se and i dont think it is an issue but am also running Xandros. any help on how to fix this problem would be great i cant stand how Xandros runs lol.

I did some research on the ha10kx2k and the only thing I could find was about Soundblaster Audigy drivers.
I would suggest first go to and download the latest drivers for your sound card.
Then uninstall the current drivers for you sound card from safe mode.
Reboot your system and let windows find the sound card again, using the drivers you just downloaded.

from safe mode, remove the sound blaster junk. reboot, hopefully it will run right. Then download the creative drivers and do a reinstall.
