Sorry guys I hate having to do this, but my problem is just annoying. Whatever I'm doing, like typing a paper or something, the window always goes inactive like there is some kind of invisible pop up that keeps coming up. My NHL 2005 game keeps minimizing on me too because of this invisible popup thing. I'm also getting this stupid icon on my desktop for some poker thing. If anyone has the time to help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and"End Task"or"End Process"on each of the following:
(They may or may not be there)
winnook
Ssk
grihhv

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.
Delete the following Files/Folders if they exist:

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders, Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your Recycle Bin, reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.

Whenever i try to delete grihhv.exe it says that access is denied

Select the following file to be deleted on reboot:

Click open and click yes to reboot now.

I was able to get rid of it by deleting the file on restart, but when i run hijack this, O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [grihhv] C:\WINDOWS\System32\grihhv.exe is still there, but the file seems to be gone when i look for it in the sytems32 folder. Is this normal? Thanks for your help.

Please copy this to Notepad save it to your desktop and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://users.pandora.be/bluepatchy/nailfix.zip
Unzip it to the desktop there are two files but please do NOT run it yet.

Please download [url=http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/files/spyware/KillBox.zip[/url]
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, reboot your computer in Safe Mode
Once in Safe Mode, double-click on Nailfix.cmd
Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear,
and a window should open and close very quickly this is normal.

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:
F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

Write down the name of the file c:\windows\system32\some random name.exe

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.

Run KillBox and paste the below into the text box:
c:\windows\system32\ljjtycz.exe
Put a check next to Standard file kill and End Explorer shell While killing file, click on the red X

[b/Do the same for each of the following files:[/b]
C:\WINDOWS\System32\WinStat11.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\grihhv.exe
C:\WINDOWS\svcproc.exe
You will also need to do the same for the random named file from above

If Killbox failed to delete any of these files stay in Killbox and
Paste the file name into Killbox and select Delete file on reboot and click the red X
Click yes to delete the file but no to reboot now do this for each file that would not delete.

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders, Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your Recycle Bin, reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.

I did what you told me and it got rid of 6 trojans on my computer. Still, there is this thing in my windows task manager that i can't get rid of. I click end process and it pops up again as a different name. Right now it is ajfdixt, and it will show up in Hijack this as ajfdixt.exe, but if I end the process a new name pops up and that will be in Hijack this instead of ajfdixt. Any solutions?

Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Please download Nailfix from here:
http://www.bnjgraphics.com/nailfix.zip
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode
After you see the BIOS screen and before Windowes starts to load.
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.
Use the Arrow key to ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.

Once in Safe Mode, double-click on Nailfix.cmd
Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear,
and a window should open and close very quickly this is normal.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and"End Task"or"End Process"on each of the following:
(They may or may not be there)
ajfdixt
LogitechDesktopMessenger

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

You will also have to find and check the newly renamed file,

remember to write down this random file name

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:
LogitechDesktopMessenger

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.

Run KillBox and paste the below into the text box:
C:\WINDOWS\System32\WinStat11.dll
Now put a check next to 'Standard file kill' and 'End explorer Shell while killing file' next click on the red X
Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear,
and a window should open and close very quickly this is normal.

Now do the same for each of the following files/folders:
c:\windows\system32\ajfdixt.exe
C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\GAPlugProtocol-8876480.dll
C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\LogitechDesktopMessenger.exe
also the random named file you wrote down

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders, Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your Recycle Bin, reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.

It looks like it's gone, and so far everything seems to be running normal. Killbox said that all those files didn't exist, so I'm guessing that means that they are already gone?
