My Hijack log...

Postby chuparon » Wed Jan 25, 2006 7:04 pm

Games that run in full screen always like to crash on me. Like i'll be playing them one second and the next, the process just stops. I've ran adaware, spybot, and avg. and figured i'd post this next since it's still happening.

Thanks in advance for all the help :)

Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - - (no file)
O2 - BHO: Accoona Search Assistant - {944864A5-3916-46E2-96A9-A2E84F3F1208} - C:\Program Files\Accoona\ASearchAssist.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: IeCatch2 Class - {A5366673-E8CA-11D3-9CD9-0090271D075B} - C:\PROGRA~1\FlashGet\jccatch.dll (file missing)

Then run another scan with HJT if the R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - - (no file)
comes back we will have to do a more, otherwise you are good to go

You really should update to service pack 2 there are a number of security issues covered with sp2.

Lets see if there is an event in the event log:

Go to Start > Control Panel > Admin tools > Event viewer > look in the application and system sections.
Post back in this thread anything with a yellow icon that relates to the game.

Other than that I’m not much help, you see I’m not a gamer.

Maybe one of the other moderators will have some ideas on resolving this for you.

Well the errors you listed relate to the server you did have.
Sorry nothing to do with any games.

It might want to check you video and cpu temps..

Have you tried testing DirectX?

Click Start>run

type dxdiag then click OK.

If asked, click yes to check for WHQL signatures. Go through all the tabs at the top of the window, if there are any problems there it should be listed at the bottom of each page.
