katgod509,

Warning these instructions are for this thread only!
You should never attempt to use them for anything else!

Please copy this to Notepad and save it to your desktop or print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes.
You should not have any other open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Start HijackThis and click "Do a system scan only" put a check next to each of the following entries:
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{04DBA475-FE92-4542-954C-120EF8EE9CCB}: NameServer = 85.255.113.122,85.255.112.169
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{0C6A0357-FD73-489E-AA39-3DCE9CD55A30}: NameServer = 85.255.113.122,85.255.112.169
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{AACE4966-4080-4F5E-89AB-97CEDCFA79D0}: NameServer = 85.255.113.122,85.255.112.169
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{ED2E92DC-A351-4008-99DA-03BBECD873D6}: NameServer = 85.255.113.122,85.255.112.169
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.113.122 85.255.112.169
O17 - HKLM\System\CS1\Services\Tcpip\..\{04DBA475-FE92-4542-954C-120EF8EE9CCB}: NameServer = 85.255.113.122,85.255.112.169
O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: NameServer = 85.255.113.122 85.255.112.169
Now click the "Fixed checked" button and then close HijackThis

Click Start, click My computer and then right click on your C: drive and select "Properties"
Now click the "Disk cleanup" button, in the next window put a check next to Recycle Bin, Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files click OK and then click yes in the popup window.

Restart your computer and post a new HiJackThis log when you reply.

katgod509,

I think something must be running in the background, let's see if we can find it.

Start HijackThis and click the Open the misc tools section now put a check next to "List also minor sections (full)
Now click the "Generate StartupList log" button notepad will open copy the contents of notepad into your reply.

katgod509,

The only thing I see that could be a problem is WeatherBug
Basicly there are two version one is just a tracking spyware the other is a redirector.

If WeatherBug is in the Add or Remove section of the control panel then try most likely is only the tracker.

If it is not in the Add or Remove section of the control panel then below is how you remove it manualy.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following:
(They may or may not be there)
Weather.exe

Start HijackThis and click "Do a system scan only" put a check next to each of the following entries:
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Weather] C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug\Weather.exe 1
Now click the "Fixed checked" button and then close HijackThis

Reboot in to Safe mode:
Restart Windows after you see the BIOS screen and before Windows starts to load.
Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.
Use the Arrow key to ensure that the Safe Mode option is selected.
Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.
Delete the following Files/Folders if they exist:

C:\Program Files\AWS\WeatherBug\Weather.exe

If you cannot delete these file(s)then:
Start HijackThis and click the Open the misc tools section now click Delete a file on reboot
Select the following file to be deleted on reboot:

Click open but click no to reboot :

Click Start, click My computer and then right click on your C: drive and select "Properties"
Now click the "Disk cleanup" button, in the next window put a check next to Recycle Bin, Temporary Internet Files and Temporary Files click OK and then click yes in the popup window.

Restart your computer and post a new HiJackThis log when you reply
also let me know if are still getting redirects.
