DSO Exploit

Postby poisonedchalice » Fri May 28, 2004 9:57 pm

I ran spybot today n got a DSO Exploit warning. Something bout a security hole in IE allowing websites to execute code without asking permission?

I popped onto the ms update website n downloaded all suggestions. Rebooted, ran Spybot again....same problem exists, DSO Exploit.

Does anyone know of a patch? Or what else I can do about it?

Any help would be greatly received!

Thanx

Thanx hun....worked a treat! :)

Not that I wanna get into a debate about it, but why are ms denying the problem? Seems a ridiculous and small problem to rectify!?

There is a known issue with the newest version of Spybot that causes this, you can read about it at this forum
