Virtual Private Network...

Postby goo » Tue Jun 22, 2004 2:19 pm

i'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this question... but do you have any idea how to set up a VPN?

i researched a little and found out that you could use a PC with 2 Network Interface Cards... is this really possible? 2 NICs?

last question, what should come first after the internet, a Router or the VPN server?

i don't know if you could answer this... please help if u can... thanks a lot!!!

When I've set up vpns I've done it by having the gateway supporting the VPN. However I would hazard a guess that you would put the vpn server behind the router, then forward the neccessary ports to it in the router.
