Okay, maybe I downloaded the wrong one- but I just ran the AVG scan for spyware. It told me that my computer was infected with spyware and to click the 'clean' button. When I did that it gave me a purchase form to fill out first. I thought it was free!

are you sure you downloaded the FREE edition, and not a regular version? I was not aware that AVG even searched at all for spyware. I have the most current version installed on my PC, and do not even see ANY option as to searching for spyware.

Always make sure you are downloading the FREE EDITION of programs like AVG, Avast, and AdAware
