Realy need help with this damn dlr file!!! please help = \

Ok i was on msn explorer one day doing what evryone does online :oops: anyway as im online my computer freezes for like 12 sec so i just close msn explorer and just shut down and go to sleep. i wake up the next day and this program just comes on my desktop!!! so i right click and do find target i found the source but it says i cant delete it and i dont have the rights to delete it :) :?: im thinking umm this is my pc i have all rights to delete what ever i want so i took the source put it on my desktop then shutdown my computer. i open it again like 1 sec later as soon as my desktop opens i hit delete on the dlr file i put on my desktop before and i was able to delete it 5 min later the same program comes on my desktop and guess what :!: :?: that damn dlr file is back as im typing this i allready deleted the programs but as soon as i reboot it will come back and btw ever since this happend msn explorer doesent work at all but i dont care about that i just want to get rid of this damn dlr file!!!!! = ( its really pissing me off im trying to delete this thing for allmost 2 days and i have tried alot of stuff anyway im not that good on computer i only know basics and stuff and if you need the source of the file i can get it as soon as i reboot :P i hope i can get help well untill then cya.

:shock: If possible when i get rid of this damn thing and i know i will get rid of it can i send it back to who ever sent it to me :wink: make them feal the same way i do :mad:

ok well i did spybot :) it got rid of alot of problems i had 24 and it got rid of 23 guess what? the 1 problem it didnt get rid of is the problem that i need to get rid of so i did hijack this and got the log here it is i hope it can help :) .

umm i looked at my own log and found C:\Program Files\WebSiteViewer\123803.dlr that was the one i did crtl alt del did end procces then i went to the source and deleted it and it was gone does that mean it is gone for good? or will it come back on reboot?

ok i did spybot after this and then the problem that was there and wasnt able to be fixed by spybot well the problem was there on spybot but spybot was able to destroy it = ) now i will see if it comes back when i reboot btw thanks for telling me to get hijackthis and spybot :cool: :wink: :mrgreen:

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

Go to Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs and remove the following if they are there:

MyWay
FRESHD - Abbreviated

Now delete these Folders or Files that are Highlighted: (You may need enable "Show all Files" and disable "Hide System Files" in Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options / View Tab) (You may have to boot to "Safe Mode" in order to delete some Files/Folders)

C:\WINDOWS\systb.dll
C:\Program Files\MyWay
C:\PROGRA~1\FRESHD - Abbreviated
C:\WINDOWS\questmod.dll
C:\WINDOWS\runwin32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\wininet32.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\PowerReg Scheduler.exe

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders (WinXp has up to 4 of them) / Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin" and reboot.

well thank you for the help i got rid of that thing but for some resone my msn explorer stopped working the same day i had this prob o well thats a diff probb at least i got this prob solved thanks to you :) :wink:
