Hi, I have a simple pc to pc lan connection via a crossover cable. I am running zonealarm on the "main" pc. On the pc connected to this if I ENABLE the firewall via network properties although this pc CAN use my internet connection (braodband) the pc's cannot share files etc... HOWEVER when I DISABLE the firewall via internet properties they can share. HOW should I have all this configured for max security?, Zonealarm says that its only necesary to install ZA on the SERVER. please any advice will help.

Thanks in advance Steve. :?:

In my opinion, only use the firewall on the direct connected PC. The other PC accessing the internet wont need a firewall because technically it is using the firewall of the PC with the internet connection.

Hope this helps. :)
