windows explorer keeps closing

Postby rdg102 » Fri May 28, 2004 1:47 pm

If I go into windows explorer and i then look at my C:\ drive, the screen will go blank for a few seconds, only showing my wallpaper, then return to normal desktop with everything that was previously running except explorer. However, if i look at D:\ drive, i have no problems... I'm runing XP Pro and have error checked, spyware checked ram checked and virus checked (with AVG) - all come back negative.

512mb ddr400 ram, athlon xp 2500, 256mb nvidia geforce fx 5200.

Any ideas??

So you are not getting any error messeges?
Do you have the latest Critical Updates and Service Packs installed?
