Windows XP installation error

Postby bawldy » Wed Sep 03, 2003 4:02 am

I recently reformatted my hard drive and tried installing window XP Pro.
It starts and gives me the following error:
File\i386\KDCOM.DLL could not be loaded error 4
can anyone tell me what this means and why I cannot install windows on my new 80 meg WD hard drive?

thanks

Are you loading it from a CD? If so, it's probably a bad CD. Get a new one.
