I can't eject an Encarta c.d.

I was installing Encarta Encyclopedia 2003, it comes with 3 cd's so i put cd 1 in and begin instalation half way through it requests cd 2 so in that goes, after a while it requests cd 3 so in that goes, but when i tried to eject the cd after instalation i keep getting a pop up box with this message.

The disc you inserted runs an application that is not currently installed on your computer. To install this application, click OK to close this dialog,then insert the installation disc. You must close this dialog before you continue.

Now i know its saying the application is not on my computer, thats because i uninstalled it because it wouldn't let me eject my cd. so i thought by uninstalling Encarta it would allow me to eject but it still doesn't.

I've tried holding "eject" whilst rebooting and also continually pressing eject whilst rebooting but to no avail.

Can anyone help me to eject this c.d??

The following is usually the last option for getting a CD out of your CD Rom drive.
Shut down your system and turn the power off, find yourself a small to medium sized paper clip, straighten all but one bend in the paper clip. Try and make the remaining part of the clip as straight as possible, now on the front of your CD Rom drive there will be a small hole usually in the center of the drive right under the CD tray. Insert the straightened paper clip into this hole keeping the clip wire perpendicular to your systems front face. Now continue inserting the clip wire until it stops, now carefully push a little harder until the CD Rom tray pops open just a little. Now remove the paper clip and carefully pull the tray out enough to remove the CD. Once the CD is removed your can now power on your system and the tray should close by itself.
