Microsoft VM/Java Permissions...IE 6.0

Postby Junior_co » Wed Dec 01, 2004 4:58 am

Im trying to log onto a financial Chat room. When I try and log on it gives me a message that the Security settings for IE are NOT configured properly and gives instructions on what to change....

The Problem:

It tells me to go to: tools....Internet Options...security tab... click default....click apply.... click custm level...Microsoft VM... Java Permission and choose High safety.

I don't have a Microsoft VM section there... I can't find anything at all that has Java settings to change....

Windows XP
Service Pack 2
Internet Explorer v6.0.2900.2180.wpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158

Any thoghts are appreciated

What I would do is go to www.sun.com and download java from them. Then attempt to access the site.
