Search in Word

Postby smilinjack » Thu Jan 20, 2005 11:54 am

Greetings,
On MS Word V.6 there is a search feature called "Find File" that is in the "FILE" drop down menu.
Upon instituting a search for.doc files, a box opens with a sidebar to the left displaying the search results (.doc names) and an area to the right where the actual files can be viewed.
I am using 2003 on one of my units and am wondering if this feature exists on the newer version?

Thanks,
Jack

Yes this option exists in word. Instead of going to file. Click on Insert then file and then the views button on top right and click preview. Have fun.

Actually this option is in file also.
