What are you sys specs....

almost looks (to me) like it might be your system being over taxed...

Also did this just start happening or has it always been this way. Does this happen on any other games or applications?

Good on ya

My specs are below. I tend to get problems when running games with high numbers of polygons,Vice city,Sims 2 etc. Sims 2 is the only one where I get that kind of distortion though,my system just usually freezes up and I have to restart my pc.

SPECS

AMD ATHLON 2Gig

XP Home Edition

512 Mb SDRAM

GeForce Ti4200 128Mb

I guess what I could do,until I upgrade, is turn down the performance options in the games themselves and see if that helps.

That sounds like it could be your problem....

We'll have to see what some of the other (more knowlageable) peeps have to say...

Have you run Ad-Aware, spybot S&D, and a virus scan?? Some of these could be taxing your resources also...

Good on ya

I tried turning down all the options and within 5 minutes it just froze up. No screen corruption though! :s

There might be a problem with your video card itself, try going to and run their test.

I think you have plenty of power, your card could be failing and you still might have temp issues.
