E-mail goes straight into deleted items

Postby mikeUK » Sun Apr 24, 2005 4:24 pm

hi,

My e-mails seem to be going into my clients deleted items box, not inbox or even junk/spam.

he uses windows xp, outlook and AVG virus scan.

Iv never heard of this happening!

my address is in his address book, which I thought might of had something to do with it?

any ideas?

You might check your language some servers filter out profanity.

My wife works for a school district and that sort of message never even gets there. It goes straight to la la land. You have to put in an * in the word to get it through the filter.

It sounds like he is filtering out your email address. He probably clicked on the wrong item in Outlook --> actions ---> junk email. You're probably on his delete list

I have this problem with Outlook Express sometimes.

It happens when I have mistakenly blocked an email address that I didn't mean to. Which doesn't actually "block" anything. It just sends it to the deleted items folder.

If this is the problem, you'll need to go into the blocked senders list and manually remove the sender you want unblocked from the list.

This is in outlook express, but I assume it's pretty close to the same for both.

Good luck!
Let me know if I can help if it seems like this is the problem.

Reedly.
