Hi liljim,

Thanks for the reply and the welcome. Actually, in XP there is no "Target" Tab. There is a general tab which has a "location" field, which is the target...but this field is displayonly. There is no restore. Also, I was wrong about being able to turn off the "readonly" aspect. I can turn it off, but it doesn't stay that way.

Thats quite alright..no problem. Now were on the same page

The only problem now is im not quite sure whats causing your problem

So, we have My Computer open and are looking at Shared Documents and "A's" Documents. From here, right click a's docs and go to the sharing tab. Make sure nothing is checked, if nothing is and the problem remains you need to open your Shared docs and make sure you dont have a My or A's documents folder in it. Im kinda taking a shot in the dark here, not a problem that i've seen before.

First of all I’m glad you got it worked out

The reason for the other entry is because it’s a shell folder operation key.
