Postby ColaBoy » Tue Mar 21, 2006 9:40 am

When it tries to load I get an message saying that NTLDR is missing. What can I do?
Ive tried loading up using the XP disk but when it gets to the screen where it says windons is loading it just hangs so I can never access the repair features

It sounds like the hard drive is going or gone.

Try checking it with diagnostic tools provided by the HDD manufacturer.

Strange thing is I tried it with another XP setup disk AND a brand new hard drive and it still does the same thing. Time to vist the PC repair shop I think. :(
