Switching Drive Partitions

Well, I recently had to reformat my computer. My hard drive came partitioned when I bought it, and the partitioned part of the drive, which is supposed to be used for back, is only about 5gb.

However, when I reinsalled, it selected the partition as the Main drive, and the other part of the Hard Drive as the partition. To some it up, my drive c: has a max free space of 2gb at any given time.

Is there anyway to switch which partition of the drive I use, without reformatting my computer?

Windows XP Home Edition
S3 ProSavage3 Graphics Card (Onboard PCI)

Try Norton Ghost 10. Symantec bought Partition Magic and sandwiched it into Norton Ghost.

From a technical point of view, its a pain in the neck to use because it works through the Windows interface. You have to install it in order to use it. You wouldn't use it as a system builder plus I can't figure out how you would use version 10 with Linux since its Windows based.

Its very user friendly and should do exactly what you want to do--basically its mistake proof.

I installed Ghost 10 and for the life of me, I could find no way to build a Ghost floppy. Is there an option on the cd or something?

Ghost 7 fit on one floppy, Ghost 8 fits on two. So I usually burn 8 to the cd with the image and boot with a dos disk
