Removing personal files

Hi Everyone, I am getting a new PC in a few days time, I will be selling my present PC Tower and was wondering how to delete or remove my personal stuff from my present PC without having to re-install windows from scratch?? Is thera a program which will clean out everything apart from Windows? Your thoughts will be appreciated as usual

If it were my system that I was going to sell, I would format c: /u and then reinstall Windows.
It’s the only way to make sure that everything is gone or at least written over.

Besides if I were buying a used system I wouldn’t want a bunch of stuff leftover from the previous owner.

It takes about 100 minutes to format and install Windows XP well worth the time investment I say.

That way you know there is nothing on there of yours.

If you REally dont want people to find your info the only sure way is to kill the drive. But a format will cover up your tracks but the information can still be found.
