How to get MS Office XP professional registration key #?

Postby kentman » Wed Jan 14, 2004 12:07 pm

I have Windows XP. I want to do a system restore. If I do a system restore, my installed software, MS Office XP Professional, would be erased. Next, I would have to reinstall MS Office XP Professional. If I reinstall MS Office XP Professional, I would have to contact Microsoft to obtain a new registration key #. Would I be given a new set of registration key #? Would Microsoft charge me for the new registration key number?

Sorry...that is for Reinstalling WinXp.

To find the Office ID:Put the Microsoft office disk in the cd drive, click on start, click on settings, go to control panel, and click on folders. Then click on MS_OFFICE_XP(whatever version), and there is a word document called "cdkey". There is your registration code.
