Bootable Backup partition?

I have a Fujitsu T3010 tablet pc. It doesnt have a cdrom and you cant boot from an external one. I am great and f-ing up my computer, so the chance of me not being able to restore it scares me. Is there a way to have a boot menu when you start up with 2 choices:
1. Microsoft XP
2. Backup Disk

Is there a way to have the 2nd partition similar to the BartPE discs where it boots up "windows" where you can access files and backups?
