Partitioning C Drive

Hello all
I have XP home runnng on my C drive and would like to install Vista Home Premium as well.
Is it possible to partition C drive now or can this only be done with a blank Drive? If this is possible can someone Point me in the right Direction please.

Well pete, it can be done but not always successful. There are tools to resize a partition but when you do that with data on it theres always a chance of losing what is on it. Partition magic is my software of choice but theres several others out there. The safest way is to start from scratch but its a choice you have to make. Do some research on "resizing an active partition" and make a decision from there.

Thanx Liljim Used Partition Magic and this was one of the easiest operations that I have ever done on the PC... took 10 mins to partition and rename ready for Vista.
