Generic!Artemis - Potentially unwanted program

Anyone come across this?

McAfee is reporting it as a PUP and cannot completely remove it.
It is reporting C:\Windows\System 32\drvmof.dll which can't be deleted.

I have run Spybot and Ad-Aware. I guess HijackThis is next?

Hi try Gooling "Remove IT" also Killbox one of these should work and both are FREE

jemmo, thats a file that will constantly rename itself. Antivir will get rid of it after a couple scans in safe mode. I would download and update antivir, boot to safe mode and run the scanner. Reboot and run again. I sorta cheat around this by running antivir from within a bart PE envornment. Running off of bart PE insures the files that need to go are not in use and dont have a chance to copy itself.

Cheers guys - running AntiVir in Safe Mode seems to have done the trick.
