Problems printing pdf documents - fonts are replaced with s

Postby hondo164 » Thu Jan 08, 2009 12:19 am

Over the last month I have been having problems printing pdf documents to both my Brother MFC 9600 Laser printer and a HP c7280 inkjet all-in-one printer. When I print most pdfs I get symbols replacing all the fonts. I have tried to print as an image and that worked on some but I am still having the problem. I am running windows Vista Home Premium. :o

Are you able to copy and paste into a word processor and print from there?

hondo164,

Go to and download the three updates for your printer drivers.

You might also have to uninstall and reinstall the printer as well.
