Ok, so I made myself this computer and installed Windows XP Pro and I’ve been getting the blue screen of death with some regularity, this is the exact screen...

If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, then restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure that any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software, disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select safe mode.

(After restarting as normal, I get a Windows report request screen. I click on details of the error report and get the following message, I did this the first time only, so these error signatures more than likely change each time to match the stop errors.

I went to the Microsoft Updates page and DL’d all updates, drivers and patches, I did a full virus scan with Norton 2004 with up to date virus definitions and came up clean, I have run system checks on ALL pieces of hardware and they are all ‘working correctly’.
I have been to Microsoft support pages and the stop codes would indicate that I have one of the following problems:
- Faulty or missing driver
- Faulty Hardware
- Faulty Software
- Software or Hardware compatibility problem
Now this is just a little to general, can anyone decipher those error code parameters for me? I just don’t understand them, if they can be interpreted they can lead me directly to the driver/software or piece of hardware that is causing the problems, right? My friend seems to think that it is an XP compatibility issue and that I should go back to Windows 2000 professional.
