No sound

Postby mnewtonede » Mon Apr 12, 2004 6:01 pm

I have no sound on my PC all of a sudden. I have noticed that somehow I have got loads of different drivers on my system (C-Media, CMI-audio, Audio codecs, Legacy) I cant seem to get them off and I dont know which one to use for my sound card. I have tried taking the card out and putting it back in but to no avail.

Can anyone help as the silence is killing me

It seemed to coincide with me uninstalling Kazaa desktop (perhaps)

Is your sound card listed in the device manager? If so you might try to "rollback driver" or remove it from there, reboot and reinstall it.
