Hotfix uninstall directorys

All versions of Windows 7, 2008 and Vista including 32 bit and 64 bit

Hotfix uninstall directorys

Does anybody know if it safe to (and consequences) delete the hotfix uninstall directorys that windows places in the windows directory everytime an update is added.
They currently are using over 60Mb of disk space and it would be nice to free this space
