wmp 9.0 ~ a mystery to me!

I'm totally confused how this works. I used it to copy a compilation CD to disk and it automatically saved it into a folder under the title of the CD. I can actually see this under a new folder called 'Various Artists'. Ok, no problem. As it's a 2 CD set, I copied this over too. Unfortunately, the song titles are incorrect and are identical to the first CD. I rename the first folder in Explorer and allow the auto copy. Now the problem. When it comes to creating a new playlist I find it cannot find the first CD. How do you modify the CD title so it will recognise it when searching? How do you then change the titles of the tracks so they are correct when playing back? Where is all this info stored? :bummed:
