weird problem with explorer

Postby cant_ride » Mon Jun 14, 2004 6:39 pm

when i go to browse i can click on any link on the homepage or elswhere and easily get to another site.... however if i type an address in the nav bar at the top it causes explorer to stop responding unless i leave it for 10 minutes + when it finally gets to the page

the only way to stop it doing this is to click on 'work offline' type in the URL i want and click connect when it asks me to.....

as im sure u can understand, this is 'mildly' frustrating

any help?

Sounds like it could be a browser hijack. Try downloading, running Hijack This and post the log in the security section of this site.

It would better to post your HJT log in the new HiJack This Support forum specifically for these logs.

:)
