Dialing ADSL broadband at boot using rasdial or other method

I live in the UK and have recently switched ISP's, I now have ADSL which comes through an external (USB) BT voyager 100 ADSL modem and i am running Windows XP (SP1) with a wireless peer to peer network.

I was wanting to know if anyone knew of a way of dialing an adsl modem at windows boot up ie. windows logon screen. As this would then mean that all i would have to do to get internet on the network would be to switch boot up the main computer .

I have been attempting to use rasdial.exe but to little avail when i set the rasdial comand in a *.cmd file and set it as a service to boot at start up the system does nothing and the modem is inactive. i was wondering if anyone is a aware of another method of getting an adsl modem to dial at boot up, other than having to go out and buy a wirless router.

I have also contacted my ISP but they are BT and thus no use at all.

Any help on this issue would be great as i have reached a dead end.

IE can be setup to dial up and connect when you start it. You would only need to add a shortcut to the Startup so IE started at startup so you would be connected. Here in the US DSL is always connected so a dial up is not required. Is this done differently in the UK?
