I installed the security update, which contained 4 security issues, when it installed it wanted to restart to complete install which is normal. The problem was my pc did not restart but rather shut down instead, and when i tried to restart it it just powered up and quit. I had to manually shut down and when i restarted it again it booted up. I tried it several time and it did the same. It was fine before the upates, i started deleting
them one by one and found out when i removed the kb841873 the computer restarted on its own again. Is anybody else experiencing this problem, could it be an incompatability with nortons 2003 systems works
I would like to have all the security updates but cant handle the restart problems, any help would be appreciated.

I have also noticed that nortons is taking over twice the time to scan on bootup since installing updates also. I found out there's a rumour around that the new updates might have a lemon in it. Anyway i removed all of the updates and now nortons is still taking for ever to enable any sugestions. Thanks
